Hi Lenni – I think that an event like that can really affect you on many levels. Grief can lower your vibration which makes it harder to connect with Spirit. I experienced that when my parents got divorced a few years ago. It’s a natural thing, as you recover emotionally you’ll find that you regain your psychic awareness.

I use to be skeptical about psychic readings until I went to a psychic myself. For all those who are still skeptical, I would recommend to give it a try once.

since my grandad died in March, i have not been able to see auras and feel a little bit cut off, i have heard of it being because of grief. Can you tell me how to get it back?

Hi David – Thanks for commenting & pointing that out! Intuition and spiritual guidance IS kind of mundane in that it’s there in the little things as much as the big things…you’ve anticipated what I’m going to say in my next post…

I think it’s great that you did include the mundane example of yours!

The way I see it, spiritual meaning in general and intuition in this example, is something that is all around us all the time, in all the small things as well as the not so small – it’s not just in finding you life’s purpose, but as you point out, about the little things as well. And if we can’t see it in the little things, why would expect to be able to see it in the bigger?

In that way, it’s really not about the content, but about the process and going with it, whether it be french grammar or life purposes.

So thank you again for an example that takes it down to earth!

MarkC – Yeah – psychic ability tends to mean all four gifts whereas intuition is more about what comes to you, so it is a bit like listening skills in a language.

Yang – That’s an interesting way of looking at it. Hope your exam went well!

Intuition’s always fascinated me. One event sticks out in particular – when I was at a Holocaust Memorial in January, I needed to go to the bathroom but felt something tell me not to. Less than a few minutes later my friend came out telling me the cubicles didn’t have doors for privacy, and curious, I checked. I remember feeling pretty proud of myself for hearing that bit of intuition, however strange the event was. I’ve had it occur a few other times but can’t remember anything in particular.

But, intuition’s a nice little surprise I (usually) like to get. It excites me whenever I run into it.

In actuarial terms, intuition is a risk management tool. You reduce ‘unexpected random life’ type risks that help your life run smoother. Normally risk management is applied in corporations and businesses but we can have personal risk management tools too.

Ha I love risk management. I have an exam tommorow with that topic in it.
