Moving to Australia! & 4 Things I’ll miss about New Zealand
On Saturday 21st November, I’ll be moving to Brisbane, Australia for one year.
In the last eight months I’ve been in New Zealand. Here’s a peek into the place and world that has been my home for the past nine months and here are some things I’ll miss…
My mum got a phone call from me in February and I said something like ‘Mum, is it OK if I stay with you for a few weeks?!’ I was in NSW, Australia at that time. Fast forward eight months later and I’m still at my mum’s place!
I have been so lucky to spend nine months here in this beautiful part of New Zealand, and it has been so nice to catch up with my mum after living 12,000 miles away for a number of years. I’ll really miss her and our lunches together and the fact that she looks after me so well even though I am 25 not 7.
I am in the Marlborough region of New Zealand, which is a famous wine-growing region so vines are literally everywhere and part of the landscape. If you have bought wine from New Zealand, chances are it might be made here. If you’re a wine drinker, next time you’re in the Supermarket, look out in the NZ section for Cloudy Bay or Stoneleigh. They make that literally next to us. It’s good stuff. I love how the vines change through the seasons. In Autumn the leaves go brown, in winter they are bare and in spring they are covered in tiny green shoots.
Here are some photos of this region taken by Trevor, mum’s husband, who is a gifted photographer, photoshopper and graphic designer. He took most of these photos. He also has a website and a Flickr account with lots more New Zealand photos.
Evening (about 6.30pm) is my favourite time of day.

Ruben and Billy are mum’s cats. I love cats because they’re independent and they basically do what they want. Ruben is the gentlest creature I’ve ever known. I love the expression on his face in this photo. The second one is of me and Billy who is greedy and very affectionate.

I’m a bit of a foodie. I love eating out and I love cooking so I have been in my element. Because there are so many vineyards here, there are also wineries with restaurants.
Our favourite is the famous Allan Scott winery:

I don’t eat meat but I eat fish. It’s actually quite hard eating out and not eating meat, as they do love their meat here in New Zealand. Here is me having two desserts which I do sometimes just because I can!

I am fairly skilled at moving to new places, so I have the drill down pat by now. But all the same, please send me some good moving vibes.
I will be staying with Brisbane blogger and alternative health goddess Fran (her website is www.HighonHealth.org) for the first few days. She has kindly offered to put me up.
In getting ready to move, I’ve noticed two attitudes I can take.
The first attitude is the attitude that moving is a damage limitation exercise. I must be stable. I must have enough money. I must find the place that I want to live in. I must meet people I like. I must not be unhappy. I must not miss my family.
The second attitude is one that life owes me nothing. I welcome everything and anything that comes my way. I am open to everything and I close my heart to nothing. I trust life to send me the very best that it has to offer. Whether that looks like failure, disasters or even…COCKROACHES.
Or maybe it looks like happiness, dependent on…nothing. Just like so many times before.
And the place I am going to live in is this:

I know I might be limiting myself a little by being so specific
So I guess instead I will just set the intention to find a…
Living ALONE
I am putting the details here so that when it’s manifested I can show you.
PS – If you’re in Brisbane and a blogger/psychic in this line of work, drop me a line. I’d love to meet like-minded people in this part of the world.
A final PS – If you wanted to do the spirit guides coaching program, there is still one place left for December. You can apply on that page. If you want to do the coaching program but can’t afford coaching right now, stay tuned for my announcement in the next week or so regarding a new product for psychic awakening, which is the next best thing to working with me personally to learn to communicate with your spirit guides. I have been working on this for the last couple of months or so which is why I have been blogging less often!
